I am participating in the OverCome Ovarian Cancer Walk/Run 2006 benfiting the Georgia Ovarian Cancer Alliance. Please help me make a difference in the life of one out of 57 women and their family members who affected by this disease every year.
That's right, 1 in 57 women each year. The worst part is that only about 25% of them will survive five years past their diagnosis. That's because the symptoms are so subtle and there is NO TEST for the disease. When Ovarian Cancer is diagnosed in the earlier stages the survival rate jumps to over 90% of the patients surviving five years and beyond.
Join my walk team or sponsor my efforts at this event and together we CAN make a difference in educating women and their health care providers here in Georgia and support vital research to help find a test for this disease!
